What's New at Poet's Seat Health Care Center
A warm hello from Poet's Seat Health Care Center. We just want to let you know about several new offerings now available at our skilled nursing facility. Come see us!December 7, 2009 -- Family TalkPoet's Seat Health Care Center welcomes residents' families to join
us for "Family Talk," a new monthly program. This month's topic is
"The Family Experience." Family members whose relatives come for a nursing home stay can have
many different feelings and experiences. Co-presenters Victoria
Valenti-Triggs and Deb Hayes, MSW, will lead a discussion about the
various pressures family members can experience and what may help. December 19, 2009 -- Pancakes with Santa Holiday Breakfast
Open to the community. Invite your kids or grandkids to breakfast and to get their pictures taken with Santa! There will be two seatings, at 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at Poet's Seat Health Care Center. This event is free for Poet's Seat residents and their families. For non-residents, the cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children or FREE when you bring an under-the-tree gift for our Salvation Army Adopt-A-Family. Get a framed picture taken with Santa for only $2.50 with proceeds going to the Residents Activity Fund. Join us for the fun! December 24, 2009 -- Holiday Music on WPVQ/Bear CountryPoet's Seat Health Care Center is sponsoring one hour of holiday music on 95.3 FM. Please listen in 3 - 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve. December 25, 2009 -- Holiday Music on WPVQ/Bear Country On Christmas Day, we are sponsoring two hours of holiday music on 95.3 FM. We hope you enjoy tuning in 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
