I recently recieved an e-mail from Pastor Marius in Romania.  Conditions are very severe in Eastern Europe at this time.  Tabita Ministries has a previous commitment to help several families with food and firewood.  We have been sending what we can from Canada but have had to cut the budget way back because of insufficient funds.    Milton

Following is the appeal Pastor Marius has made ...

Much snow and very cold.  (A very serious situation) 

roads closed, schools closed

39 people died

in Ciacova it has snowed 5 days continually (I don`t see this before)

Elena and children almost frozen (I pray to have possibility to buy a load of wood-140euro) - I was today to pay rent and 2 months of  electric bill for the Emergency House -200euro

my car is broke down -  I pray to have resource to repair 'urgently need' -400euro

my laptop died last night - I changed the screen today , to be able to communicate again-100euro

we have not been able to give groceries to the poor this last month ...

I just pray to God to put on heart of someone to help us in this difficult moments !

P.S. we (me and Tabita & Lavi ) have a cold -flu,  we take  medicine everyday , but still go out to do all - church , visit people , help ...

The Romanian governtment is in a big crises.  The Prime Minister resigned - with all government - many people are  in the streets (I think they are brought there by ex-communist party) ... the ex-communist party is trying to take the power and lead again in Romania  - Please Pray!!!
