Milton & Kathi

On September 15^th we will be leaving for Romania along with three friends.  We will fly to London then on to Budapest, Hungary, where we will be picked up for the final leg of the trip to Ciacova (Chalk-oh-vah), in southwest Romania.  Total travel time, depending on delays: 24-28 hours.  Upon arrival in Ciacova, Pastor Marius Ianc and his wife Tabita will meet us and we will stay in their home.  The next few days will be spent visiting and ministering to the people being helped by Tabita Ministries. This will include an English Camp with the Bible Club Kids, and attending church services at Biserica Crestina Baptista in Ciacova, Jebel and Padureni.  All of us will tell our faith stories and participate in the Agape Sunday Outreach.  Marius tells us that everyone there is eager to see the Chalk Talks and hear English Gospel Music.  There will be opportunity to tour the city of Timisoara and area, visiting Victory Square where the Revolution began, bringing an end to communism.  Kathi and I will be there three weeks longer to work with Tabita Ministries, implementing an Education Fund that Capstone Mission Society oversees and planning for a Bible Club after school drop-in program at the Learning for Life Center.  

Our purpose and hope is to build up and encourage the believers and we pray that those who are hostile or indifferent to the Gospel of Peace will be drawn to give up their prejudices and accept the truth found only in Jesus Christ.  We know the Holy Spirit goes before us opening blind eyes and deaf ears to see and hear that God is love and available to all who invite His presence into their lives.
