Hi everyone,
Just a note to let you know we are back in Canada. Our recent mission trip to Romania has been nothing short of interesting and not quite as long as originally planned. As most of you know we were delayed 9 days from the start because of the volcano in Iceland, and finally, arriving in Romania our itinerary was significantly changed. We made the best of it and spent the last 2 weeks with Marius and Tabita catching up on ministry business, program planning, working with children and visiting some of the families sponsored by Tabita Ministries. We had a very blessed time ministering to the children and congregation of Biserica Baptista Crestina Ciacova. The extra expense from the volcano delay was substantial not to mention the stress, which tired both of us, and Kathi was not well from the beginning of the trip so we decided not to go with Marius and Tabita to Moldova. They are travelling this week and will fulfill the planned ministry commitments. (We will give a report on their return.) This gave a lady named Paulina, originally from Moldova, the opportunity to go with them to visit her dying sister. Paulina is a widow lady with two children that Tabita Ministries helps. She could not afford the trip and if not for this turn of events she possibly would not see her sister for the last time. The changes to our plans reminded us that God has a plan and He can rearrange things to work together for the good. We will send a ministry report with pictures soon. |
