Once again, Matt Emmons (Brown Mills, NJ) fought his way to the top of the award podium at the World Cup in Sydney, Australia. His 1272.6 points in Men's 3-Position Rifle was good enough for a come-from-behind victory on Saturday that gave him another gold medal for his growing collection.

USA Shooting's National Shotgun Coach, Bret Erickson, shook his head in near-disbelief as US Skeet shooter Sean McLelland stepped onto the podium to accept his silver medal. Erickson held out his hands-one waving five fingers and the other waving two-and thought to himself, "Seven..."

USA Shooting is pleased to introduce Katie McGinty as the new Media and Public Relations Manager. McGinty was selected from more than seventy candidates and comes to USA Shooting with a breadth of experience in copy writing, marketing, sports management, and public relations. In her new role, McGinty's primary responsibilities include serving as editor of USA Shooting news, generating media content, press releases, marketing support, and acting as press officer at various US Olympic Committee and USA Shooting events.

| 2010 National Junior Olympic Championships Second Round Invitations Announced |
The complete list of 2010 Rifle and Pistol National Junior Olympic Championships Second Round Invitations is now available.
This will be the last round of invitations to the National Junior Olympic Championships set to take place April 8-26, 2010. At this time all volunteer spaces have been filled as well. Thank you to everyone who showed interest. We received a great number of responses.
