 The Morningside Ride: Road Challenge 2010 is a unique and fun scavenger hunt driving event. Participants will be looking for clues along the roadside enroute to the finish line party at Lucky Eagle Casino with a BBQ lunch, games, awards, and more. $80 per 2-person Team (driver & navigator)

The Shared-Work program reduces your payroll costs and keeps your skilled work force intact while sparing employees the hardships of full unemployment. Workshop will feature Bill McDonald, Manager of Employment Security Department's Shared Work program. Tuesday, August 31 1 to 2pm -- Chamber Office Employer workshops are hosted by the Thurston County Chamber's Pacific Mountain Business to Business program and are typically held the fourth Tuesday of every month (adjusted schedule for the month of August).

Leadership Thurston County -- A Fast Track to Community Leadership
LTC is NOW accepting
applications for the Class of 2011. From September through June, participants meet with decision-makers, build community networks and hone leadership skills. Nearly 400 graduates are presently making a difference throughout Thurston County and beyond. Cost of the program is $1,750 and the deadline for applications is July 30, 2010.
