Annual Fund Campaign July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2010 In an earlier issue, we listed donors in FY10 (July 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010) who had donated $1,000 or more and thus were being listed on our Annual Donor Board in the History Center. We also had many who made donations less than $1000 to the Annual Giving Campaign. Because the list is so large we have decided to break it in two sections, with the second group to be listed in our next issue. We are grateful to all who made contributions in addition to their membership dues! $999 - $500 OK State Chamber of Commerce Dr. & Mrs. William L. HEIRLOOM CARE CLASSES
Oklahoma History Center
October 2, 2010
Have you ever wondered why museums keep the lights low or the galleries dark? Do you know what type of box or materials your great grandmother's wedding dress should be stored in? The Oklahoma History Center is excited to offer the answers in our series of heirloom care classes.
Our mission is to collect, preserve, and share Oklahoma history for all. Now is a chance for our curators to help you do the same with your personal collections.
The next class, Textiles and Quilts, will be held October 2nd at the Oklahoma History Center from 10:00am - 12:00pm. The class will address basics of care for textiles and quilts and will be taught by Jill Holt, Curator of Collections. The cost for the class is $10.00 per person. Registration is required and seating is limited. To sign up please contact Jason Harris at jharris@okhistory.org or 405-522-0785. |
