This is a week of events that we have been eagerly awaiting. 

  On Tuesday we are thrilled to welcome Bruce Phillips of Vine Hill Ranch to Bakersfield as we host the release party for the 2009 VHR Cabernet Sauvignon.   Vine Hill Ranch was a great Imbibe find last year and in addition to amazing support around the store we're happy that many of you took the initiative and joined VHR's wine club. You won't be sorry. You will be rewarded for your foresight with the 2009 bottling. Swing by the wine bar tomorrow at 5 p.m. as we taste the new release.  $20 buys you a taste of the 2008 from the Imbibe library and of the newly released 2009. We're sure you'll walk away happy.  This is one of those events that only happens once in a blue moon -  do not miss it!

Wednesday brings a special meet & greet with Tony Porras of Gallo Wine Company tasting the Signature Series of wines made by Gina Gallo.  Gina is a third generation winemaker with access to some of the best grapes in the world.  This new series is meant to showcase the very best that the Gallo Wine Company has to offer.  Only released to a very select group of retailers - Imbibe is proud to be included on such a discriminating list.  Join us from 5 - 8 pm as we taste the 2009 Chardonnay, 2009 Pinot Noir and the 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon.  Taste all three for $10 and receive $10 back on your purchase of 3 or more bottles that evening.  This is a chance to see what the current generation of the Gallo Family can do and what great wine-making is really all about.
