2007 Silver Oak Alex

Tomorrow!

Sierra Nevada Tasting

David Hello to all those who Imbibe,

Well Cab-lovers, the moment we've been waiting for all year has finally arrived.  The release of the 2007 Silver Oak Cabernet Alexander Valley is next week onMonday, August 1st.  For those not in the know, the Silver Oak Alex is the wine made to drink while your Napa bottling ages.  With generally softer tannins and brighter fruit, this wine does well right upon release and will continue to do well for the next 5 to 7 years.  This year's release displays deep ruby hues with notes of juicy black plum, baking spices and blackberry cobbler. In addition, this year is especially exciting because it hails from the famed 2007 vintage which is, quite possibly, the best vintage for California in the past decade.

In celebration of its arrival, for the month of August, Imbibe Wine will be selling the 2007 Silver Oak Alex for an unbelievable $59.99 per bottle.  Our pre-order waiting list starts this week, so call or stop in and leave your information to be one of the first to get your stock.  For those collectors out there, or those that love to entertain, we will also have magnums available for purchase at $129 a bottle for the month of August.  With such an amazing wine from such an incredible vintage, this is the wine to stock by the case.

Also, don't forget to swing by the wine bar tomorrow night as we welcome Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.  Taste through 6 amazing beers for only $15!  And as if that's not enough, PM Custom Catering will be on hand with Home-made Pastrami Sliders for only $10!  For more details, check out the link below...

Until next time, keep pullin' those corks!
