Happy Father's

 Day

from Imbibe

DavidHello to all those who Imbibe,

With Father's Day just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about what gifts will make your special guy smile this year.  Though ties and grill-ware have always been the staples, I'm here to tell about a few things that will really show Dad how amazing he is.

Imbibe is known for our amazing wine selection, enabling you to give dad some of the finest and rarest bottlings around. Recently we accepted into inventory three private cellars collections; for a very short time, we'll have some amazing older vintage wines available. Don't wait too long to come browse through the treasure chest.

Whether the Dad in your life enjoys Cabernet, Zinfandel or Sauvignon Blanc, we'll help you select a gem.  For some insider ideas, check out the 2008 Textbook Cabernet Sauvignon ($49.99) from Napa - beautifully rich, with notes of blackberry, pipe tobacco and chocolate.  That, or the 2008 Haraszthy Zinfandel from Sonoma ($19.99) - raspberry jam meets elegant spice and a sweet oak finish.  If you can't decide on just one, try out one of our Imbibe 3-bottle gift boxes that are so nice they'll show Dad just how loved he is.  This week only, the  three bottle gift box is free with your purchase of 3 (or more!) bottles.

With the stresses Dad encounters daily, a wee dram before bed can be appreciated as the perfect gift.Looking for a purely delicious and truly unique spirit?  The Chieftain's line of Single Malt Scotches start around $60.  Ranging from subtly peated, with caramel tones to monster peat bombs, what makes Chieftain's extra special is that they purchase barrels from distilleries that would not normally make it to the states on their own.  For example, the Strathisla 10 year is normally used as one of the blending scotches in Johnnie Walker Black Label.  Try it on its own and you'll never go back to JW.  With a few different bottlings, we can help you pick out the perfect one for a scotch-loving dad.

Everyone knows that Dads love beer, and with over 220 bottles in stock, Imbibe is the perfect spot to pick out a custom 6-pack.  With the help of our beer geeks, we can get you set with beers that your Dad has never even heard of.  Try out a couple of the staff favorites, like the Brouwerij Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet ($12.49), that drinks like lemon, cream and bananas.  Perfectly light and refreshing, yet full-flavored and unique.  Or just in, the very rare Firestone-Walker Abacus Barleywine that displays deep flavors of fig and brown sugar.  This one has been seen around for as much as $40, Imbibe Wine price - $23.99.

If you'd like more personalized assistance finding the perfect gift, Imbibe Wine is always there to help pick out something amazing every time.  I look forward to seeing you all around the winebar!

Until next time, keep pullin' those corks,

David and the Imbibe team
