Imbibe new NEW AT IMBIBE
The Wines of Eric Solomon

 David

Hello To All Those Who Imbibe,

With Spring finally in full swing, let's liven your choices and bring you the highest quality products that we can find.  To that end, Imbibe Wine & Spirits is happy to announce that we are the sole vendor in Bakersfield to find Eric Solomon wines.  Eric Solomon has been importing wines of unsurpassed quality to the states or more than 20 years with a discerning palate and unwavering concern for varietal and regional accuracy.

Eric began his import firm, European Cellars, in 1989 and has been hand-selecting amazing wines from around the world ever since.  Eric's focus is on indigenous varietals and sense of place in the wines that he represents.  "I'm interested in what makes grapes from one vineyard different from a vineyard 100 kilometers away.  I'm not interested in a cookie-cutter approach to winemaking."  In 2002, Robert Parker coined Eric "Wine Personality of the Year" and in 2006, he was named "Best Importer of the Year" by Food & Wine Magazine. In fact, Parker went so far as to say that the "quality of [Eric Solomon's] selections is remarkable. Moreover, this is also a fine source of outstanding wine values."  Today, Eric Solomon imports over one hundred different producers, mainly from Spain and France.  Imbibe Wine has brought in ten new offerings. Details follow in the list below.

Until next time, keep pullin' those corks!
