New Beers?

All Good.

DanCheers,

Last week was very exciting in terms of new beers coming through the door.

Ballast Point Brewing Company  Ballast Point Brewing Company

The first brewery that we showcasing this week is well known by many in the San Diego area, Ballast Point Brewing.  This brewery stemmed from a great friendship and a love of homebrewing, and as they put it, is just "two regular guys doing what they love."  Once you try out their lot, you'll see what high quality a small start can produce.  We've brought in their Pale Ale, Big Eye IPA and Black Marlin Porter.  Get them while they last.

Stone Brewing Company

The second brewery needs no introduction.  A longtime favorite since they started in 1996, Stone has continually impressed us with their in-your-face beers.  In recent years they have branched out to more seasonals and specialty brews and here at Imbibe we are happy to offer them.  Come check out the new arrivals including the Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale, the Cali-Belgique IPA, and the classic Smoked Porter.  Only a few cases available so stop in soon.

We've also got two new secret brews for BIG beer lovers. If you want to find out what they are or learn more about any of the beers I've been talking about, click here.

Until next time, see you 'round the Keg-o-rator!

WINEMAKER DINNER

Meyer Family Cellars

at Bakersfield Country Club

Saturday, March 26th | 6 pm | $79

For the first time ever, Imbibe Wine & Spirits is proud to present the wines of Meyer Family Cellars and showcase their amazing portfolio paired with a spectacular five course meal prepared by Chef Fidencio Serrano of Bakersfield Country Club. We look forward to having you join us for what will be one of the premiere wine events of the year.

Since 1972, the Meyer family has been deeply involved in the California wine industry. Justin Meyer, co-founder of Silver Oak Cellars was committed for three decades to producing benchmark California Cabernet Sauvignon. In the mid 90's, Justin, his son Matt and the rest of the family founded Meyer Family Cellars. Matt grew up in the vineyards and cellar of Silver Oak Winery. The passion he developed for wine led him to the University of California, Davis, where he was awarded a Masters in Viticulture in 2002. Today Matt and his wife Karen run the day to day operations at Meyer Family Cellars, and are committed to producing some of the finest wine made in California.
