Silver Oak Reminder
+
Mercury Head Cab |
Hello To All Those Who Imbibe,
It has been an amazing week at Imbibe, and we're not about to slow down yet. For starters, as the many that attended know, the 2001 Top 100 Tasting was a great success and a fun time was had by all. Coming up on Saturday we have our Top 24 Beer Tasting, and already the response has been overwhelming. Tickets are almost sold out for this event, and with a limit of 100 people, you can expect another top-shelf Imbibe get-together. Also, don't forget that tonight we have a very special flight on the wine bar. Tonight we will take a look back at the Great 2001 Vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon. Featured wines will include: Shafer Hillside Select (99/100 WA), Heitz Marth's Vineyard, Revana, Clark Claudon, Karl Lawrence and a special bottling of Reverie's Zircon Stream. In case you were wondering, the name comes from the fact that Reverie is located next door to Diamond Creek. I do have two great wine deals that I've been wanting to pass on to everybody. The first is a reminder that the 2006 Silver Oak Napa Cab will be released next week and, through the month of February, Imbibe is offering the wine for $84.99 each or $76.50 by the six pack. This offer is only good while supplies last. The second amazing wine deal this week is that we are receiving our allocation of 2008 Mercury Head Cabernet Sauvignon. This is one the best Cabs I've ever tasted and it's no wonder why it sells out in such a short time. For those that are fans of other Orin Swift wines (The Prisoner, Papillon, Saldo, and Abstract), this is the highest tier of wines he produces. Be sure to check this one out because with only 24 bottles coming in, I guarantee you these bottles will be gone within the week. - David |
