Hello To All Those Who Imbibe,

Oregon fans, rejoice! The 2008 vintage is being heralded as the best vintage the state has ever seen.  From what we've had the opportunity to taste so far, the hype is warranted.  A true sign that 2008 is an impressive vintage is that Pinot  at every price point we've tasted has been balanced and elegant.  The vintage has shown so well that it has been proclaimed by Wine Spectator Editor-in-Chief Harvey Steiman "a perfect 100-point" vintage.

Oregon's  phenomenal year resulted from the unusual weather that lent itself to a near perfect harvest.  A cool summer produced significantly lower yields than in years past and a warm fall carried the fruit slowly to a prime ripeness. In essence, a perfect storm for Oregon.  The resulting fruit displays both spicy red and black fruit aromas, balanced alcohol levels and rich, densely pack fruit with youthful tannins and bright acidity.
