The Next Big Thing
Meteor Vineyards
|
Hello To All Those Who Imbibe,
Many of you have known me years; for some of you, our relationship is just developing.
Over the past 20+ years as one of the best wine retailers in Southern California, I've been the first to inform dedicated wine lovers like you about up-and-coming wineries like Harlan, Scarecrow, Dana, Lail, Futo and many others new wineries or bottlings before the press has caught wind of them. I'm happy to tell you, I have found the next big thing in Napa Cab, Meteor Vineyards. Located in heart of the Coombsville appellation in the southeastern end of Napa Valley, Meteor Vineyards is on their third vintage and already making outstanding wine.
Be sure to check out the video below to see winemaker, Andy Erickson, who makes or has made some of the finest wines in the valley, includingScreaming Eagle, Dalla Valle, Ovid, Staglin, and his own label, Favia, to name a few. You will also see winemaker, Philippe Melka, as he talks about this amazing vineyard and the special wines coming from it. Philippe Melka has made or makes the wines of Lail, Vineyard 29, Hundred Acre, Dana, Quintessa, Dominus, Gemstone and his own label, Metisse. As a special treat toward the end of the video, Robin Lail, the Queen of Napa Valley, speaks to how very special this vineyard is and to the commitment that owners, Barry and Tracy Schuler, have shown in their strict farming practices. Imbibe will only receive a few 3-packs of the 2007 Meteor Vineyards Perseid Cabernet Sauvignon, so call in today to have them reserved. $125 per bottle, $375 per 3-pack. This is an opportunity you don't want to miss!

Last, but not least, be sure to check out our amazing sale on select 2006 Cabernet Sauvignons. Details below.
Until next time,
~ David

~ NO COVER CHARGE ~
Join Imbibe Wine in welcoming award-winning producer, songwriter and vocalists, Chris and Jan Harris on one of their stops for their cross country tour celebrating 30 years together. Prior to the tour, Chris and Jan put together 100 songs about life, love and marriage and went on the road to share their experiences.
Enjoy the show the day before Thanksgiving as we enjoy the laughter, the tears and the romance of the special bond between two people.
"We figured 30 years ought to be worth something. We think that anything that was good for June and Johnny (Cash) is good enough for us." - Chris Harris |
