Hello to all those who Imbibe,

We wanted to let you know about a meet & Melville Chardgreet we're really excited about this week on Thursday, May 20th. Our good friend Stephen James of Melville Vineyards and Winery will be at Imbibe pouring and talking about the wines of both Melville and Brewer-Clifton.

For more than a decade, Melville Winery has produced world-class wines without a lot of fanfare. Not content to be at the mercy of other growers, from their beginning in 1996 Melville wanted to be an estate producer with established vineyards who controlled their own fate. Melville's owners knew that by farming their own grapes they gained control of vine yields and quality.

These days, they have 140 acres of grapevines planted to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Rhone varietals. Greg Brewer is the winemaker, or "non-winemaker", as he sometimes refers to himself. Greg's philosophy is "let the vineyard sites speak for themselves". And boy do they. If you have not tried the wines of Melville before, you are in for a treat this week!

We will be pouring current release Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Rhone Varietals along with library wines. Taste all the wines for only $15.00 and receive a $15.00 credit on the purchase of four bottles of more.
