Hello to all
who Imbibe,
Thanks to all of you who have made 2009 a very memorable year for us. We
look forward to 2010 and want to wish each of you a very Happy New Year. I want to share some very
exciting things that are going on at Imbibe these days.
First up - our Top 100 List Wines 2010 newsletter has published, so stop by and pick up YOUR copy of the hottest list of wines in the Nation.
Second - Saturday, January 30th we'll be
hosting our first Top 100 Tasting at Imbibe from 2-5 pm. All 100 wines
will be open to taste along with hors d'oeuvres from Valentien Restaurant. We will have producers
of the top wines in our store to personally pour their wines - and the deal gets
even better. You'll receive a certificate entitling you to a $25 discount on your
first mixed case of wine (good for day of tasting only). Tickets are going fast, and only 150 tickets are available. Cost is $59/person or two for $100.
This Friday, January 8th we will have
the wines of DuMOL at the wine bar. DuMOL produces the finest Chardonnay
and Pinot Noir in America - period. Here's a chance for you to head off the January blues with good wines, delicious cheeses and great company. The DuMOL wines will be available by 4 p.m.
Our first Beer Tasting of the year is Wednesday,
January 20th from 5 to 8 p.m.. Meet Derek Pflug of
Sierra Nevada and enjoy tacos from Grills on Wheels. Beer tasting and taco
meals purchased separately. Beer tasting $10;
Tacos with all the fixings $10 with a six taco limit.
