Greetings!
Hello to all those who Imbibe
We have a very busy week so we thought it would be best we
keep all of you in the loop. Also I want to let all of you know we just
received our Fall Allocation of DuMOL Wines. Owner Kerry Murphy has been a friend
from the beginning. We are very proud to represent these wines, which are in my opinion the finest Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs in America. With Andy Smith making the
wines they will continue to shine. All the DuMOL wines are very limited so don't let
me tell you I told you so come January.
Hope to see you at Imbibe this week, tell a friend.
David
P.S. This week's events are at the bottom of this e-mail. It's our not-so-sneaky way to get you to read the whole dern thing! Tami

2007 DuMol Chardonnay Chloe $69.99
Wine Advocate Notes: Great fruit
characterizes the 2007 Chardonnay Chloe. Like all these 2007s, it is very
fragrant, with exceptional purity and stature. The notes of subtle honey, white
currants, white peaches, and hints of tropical fruit such as pineapple, as well
as floral undertones and some crushed rock, all brilliantly frame a
full-bodied, crisp Chardonnay with a layered mouthfeel, texture, and length.
This is a stunning wine to drink over the next 5-7 years.

2007 DuMol Chardonnay Isobel $69.99
Wine Advocate Notes: The 2007 Chardonnay Isobel,
which took almost a year to finish its malolactic fermentation, displays a
slight greenish hue to its color, some smoky hazelnut notes intermixed with
lemon butter, white peach, honeysuckle, and brioche. It is full-bodied, with
great fruit, underlying minerality, and a sensational finish. Most of these wines
seem to easily pass 20 seconds on the palate.

2007 DuMOL Pinot Ryan $89.00
Wine Advocate Notes: The 2007 Pinot Noir Ryan (a
blend of two vineyards, Widdoes and Abbot, also in the cold Green Valley) is a
bigger cuvee. It exhibits plenty of black cherries, raspberry, plum, and forest
floor as well as some damp earth, underbrush and spice. It is complex already,
with an intense fragrance, medium to full body, and a long, heady finish.
Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016.

2007 DuMOL Viognier Lia $59.99
Wine Advocate Notes: One of the best efforts
DuMOL has made yet with their white Rhone program is the 2007 Viognier Lia.
This goes through full malolactic yet is bone dry and retains tremendously
crisp acidity, giving uplift to the very substantial lychee, apricot, peach,
and exotic fruit notes of this full-bodied, fresh, lively wine, which even has
some minerality, something that the top Condrieus from the northern Rhone also
possess. This wine should drink nicely for several years.
