A big thanks to all the people that came by last Friday and gave Robert Craig a big welcome to town. The wines showed great and I know Robert had a great time during his weekend in Bakersfield.
The month of October is my Birthday month - and just this week I got a call from Silver Oak to wish me Happy Birthday. That got me to thinking about what could I do to make this a great month. Here's what I came up with - hope you like it!

Grand Opening Party
Last but definitely not least...
We will be having a grand opening party for Imbibe on Sunday October 25th, and we think it is important to give back to the community. So our party will benefit the very special local non-profit group CASA 100%. Your donation of $50 goes straight to the coffers at CASA - you can make your check payable to CASA, but please do call Imbibe to make your reservations at 633-WINE (9463).
During this two hour event, you'll enjoy great food, a wide open wine bar, great company AND the satisfaction that you only get by contributing to a worthy cause.
There are only 150 tickets available for this fantastic Sunday party, where you'll be the only guests in the store. Any purchases that afternoon at the conclusion of the event will accrue toward a donation from Imbibe to the great folks at CASA - so plan to bring your checkbook.
