Greetings!
Hi, I will try to keep this newsletter short although it has a lot of stuff in it. First off, here is the link to our video on Heart of Gold squash I promised: Heart of Gold video
Also, we won't be picking any more sweet corn this week. If the weather cooperates (e.g. no frost and mild temperatures the rest of the week) we hope to start picking our last sweet corn patch next week.
We picked more canning tomatoes today. It was slow picking, but they still were nice tomatoes. The price the rest of the season for canning tomatoes will be $10 a half bushel.
We started harvesting our Rutabagas today. As many of you know, rutabagas are needed to make genuine UP pasties.
Also, I want to remind everyone that we welcome the Bridge Card (EBT card) as well as WIC Project Fresh Coupons and Senior Fresh/Market Fresh Coupons.
