Greetings!

Hi,

GOOD NEWS!  NO DAMAGING FROST!

The air temperature, just before 7, dropped to around 35F, which wasn't low enough to cause damage to our crops.  The problem is that there is more chances for patchy frost Wednesday and Thursday night because of crystal clear skies, calm winds and low dewpoints.

I have a new You Tube video out.  Quick Fun Look at how We Make Tomato Puree It is a quick, kinda fun, view of how we make our tomato puree from our Roma/Italian tomatoes.  Last year we can and froze tomato puree from nearly 10 bushels of our tomatoes.  We use a Squeezo strainer which is an all metal job made in the USA and we power it with a battery powered electric drill.  There are other strainers on the market as well.  I hope to get out two more videos soon--one on the Heart Of Gold Squash and the other on the STRANGE thing we found on top of our pumpkin vines 13 years ago.

Nashle,

Tom
