REO and Foreclosure Property Updates
Foreclosure Held  
REO stands for Real Estate Owned. These are properties which are owned by a bank, other lending institution, or government entity. These properties enter the bank's portfolio by way of foreclosure. But banks do not want to own, manage, and market properties they acquire, so their goal is to sell the property to a new owner quickly and for the best possible price. Banks sell these properties utilizing real estate brokers. 

A foreclosure is the legal process by which an owner's right to a property is terminated, usually due to default. It typically involves a forced sale of the property at public auction with the proceeds being applied to the mortgage debt.

Short Sale Property Updates
Short Sale  A short sale is where the sale proceeds fall short of the balance owned on the property's loan.  It often occurs when a borrower cannot pay the mortgage loan on their property and the lender decides that selling the property at a moderate loss is a better option for both parties.
