The renovations continue....

Once renovations begin, it can sometimes be difficult to stop, as we have come to realize this year.  When one project ends, it often accentuates the tiredness of other areas.  After renovating four Fireplace Rooms this past winter, the remaining two definitely stood out of place.  Even though they were only re-decorated last year, we did not realize the differing opinions towards the colour purple.  Guests either loved the decor or hated it and after the stunning transformation of the other 4 rooms, Abbey Rose and Tiffany Rose just weren't holding up.  So we once again enlisted the expertise of Design District Studios to re-design these two rooms and they did not disappoint.  New carpet, wallpaper, paint and soft fabrics were all that was needed to brighten, warm and enhance these beautiful rooms.

We also updated the breakfast room from Country Inn to elegant Boutique.  The wallpaper was carefully chosen to reflect the city of Victoria, new light fixtures, tile, plush chairs, re-covered benches and accent pillows are in keeping with the 1930's style of the hotel yet with an elevated modern feel.

Thank you to Danisha Drury and Donna Morrison at Design District Studios for their creative talents!
