Enterprise Ireland - First Flight Programme

The aim of the First Flight Programme is to save you time and expense, and to help you manage the risk associated with entering new markets. The First Flight Programme is designed to assist companies seeking to export for the first time.  It also is of benefit to companies that are currently exporting and planning to target and sell into new markets.

Subsistence Allowances
 
Employers can pay tax-free Subsistence Allowances to staff, in certain circumstances, if they temporarily work away from their normal location of employment:
 
Subsistence Rates effective from 5 March 2009  
 
Overnight Allowances Day Allowances  €107.69 - €108.99
Normal Rate 10 hours or more 5 hours but less than 10 hours
€33.61 €13.71

The "Normal Rate" applies to absences up to 14 nights. Reduced Rates apply for longer periods.
This does not cover time spent at an employee's normal place of work,
on journeys between home and the normal place of work A separate set of rates apply to international travel.

Marie Devery- Auditor with KDA
 
Marie Devery is an audit senior with KDA Accountants. 
 
Marie trained as a chartered accountant with a Big 4 firm and has sizable experience with manufacturing, property and retail companies. Marie holds an honours degree in Accounting and Finance from DCU and qualified as an ACA in May 2008. Marie joined the KDA team in April of this year
 
Marie is in her twenties and has a keen interest in travelling, so much so that she recently spent a year travelling around the globe. She is also very proud Dub and can often be found on the Hill 16 when Dublin are still in the Championship!
