Does your daughter's Girl Scout Leader go beyond expectations in their service to the Girl Scout Troop? Has your group's Cookie Coordinator gone out of their way to ensure that all girls received their cookie training and materials to get started with the Girl Scout Cookie Program? If you know a Girl Scout Volunteer you'd like to nominate for extraordinary service to the girls here's your chance!
Nominate them for a GSUSA/GSMISTS Award!
All nominations must be received by March 15, 2011.
Guidelines:
- Nominations for candidates will be accepted at all GSMISTS Service Centers by the March 15 deadline.
- An individual or group familiar with the candidate's performance completes the nomination form. Please be as specific as possible, giving examples of "above and beyond" service.
- If your award requires endorsement letters, please submit all documentation in one envelope.
- Nominators will be notified by mid April of their candidate's approval status.
Criteria:

- The candidate has completed appropriate training (if troop leader, assistant leader, or service team member, this refers to core leadership training: Orientation, Volunteer Essentials 101, Leadership Essentials and Dimensions of Diversity).
- The candidate performs at a level that exceeds the expectations for the position.
