financial peace universityFinancial Peace University

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University returns to St. Cuthbert. This 13

week program teaches how to tell money where to go instead of wondering

where it went. Learn a plan for handling your resources God's way that

encompasses spending, saving, and giving; it is not only a way to financial

peace; it's a way to life-changing freedom! The course will begin Thursday,

October 28, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The $100 per family fee covers all

materials and more. Scholarships may be available for those in need.

Online registration is available at our website, www.stcuthbert.org, or

contact Mark or Ella Chambers at markechambers@gmail.com.

stewardshipOctober is Stewardship Month

You may have noticed that at St. Cuthbert we talk about stewardship all the time, not just once a year. In October, in conjunction with our annual pledge

drive, we will focus on what stewardship is and why it is so important in the life of a Christian. Pledge cards will continue to be distributed. On Sunday, October 24, we will conclude with a pledge ingathering. More information on stewardship will be available in Sunday services throughout the month.

lord of the streets

Lord of the Streets

On Sunday, October 24, members of St. Cuthbert are invited to cook breakfast for and provide lunch bags to the Lord of the Streets community.  We will leave the church at 5:30 a.m.  The mission of Lord of the Streets is to minister to the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of individuals who are homeless, in crisis or in transition.  Donations of the following to be used in the lunch bags are needed: cheese and crackers, fruit, Vienna sausages, juice boxes and chips.  Monetary donations are always appreciated.  All items should be dropped off by Sunday, October 17.  For more information, please contact Joan Everson at 281.859.4147 or Betty Reid at 281.440.7402.
