Family Fest is Here!
Bring your family, friends and neighbors to the Berry Center this Saturday, October 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Family Fest. There will be entertainment, empowering workshops and information sessions, vendors and health screenings for the entire family. Event highlights include:  Kid and Teen Zone featuring Ms. Texas Covergirl and Clutch the Rockets Bear (11:30-12:30), recycling of paper and electronic equipment, parenting workshops, vision and hearing screening and much more! St. Cuthbert is one of the sponsoring churches. Don't miss this opportunity to build the kingdom of God- together!
Annual Vestry Election

The annual Vestry election will be held Sunday, October 10 after the 10:30 a.m. service. The following people have agreed to be nominees for the 2011-2014 vestry: Lucky Kandolha, Mark Chambers, Sylvia Newby, Emmanuel Golakai, Brian Schack and Matt Neil. Please read about the candidates on the board at the front of the church.

CYAC-YA Night!

The Cuthbert Young Adults (C-YA) will be having a fellowship gathering on Tuesday, October 12 at 6:30 p.m. This ministry is focused on the 18-30+ crowd and the gathering is a time to have food and fellowship with one another. Christian Education logoChristian Education
Christian Education classes for all ages meet every Sunday from 9:15-10:00 a.m.  Children gather in the classrooms and youth meet in the EYC room. 

There are four different Christian Education classes from which adults may choose.
Classes 1 and 2 will be similar topics with Class 1 a lecture style class and Class 2 a facilitative style. Class 3 will be an in-depth study of the entire Bible, and Class 4 is for the Cuthbert Young Adults, (C-YA) the 18-30+ crowd.
 
Class 1: Taught by Bill Etter and Fritz Lang in the Sanctuary. Class 2: Led by Terry St. John in the Parish Hall.
From Sunday, October 10 through January 30 we will take an in depth look at the various significant historical events set forth in Genesis.
 
Class 3: Bible Reading
Teacher: Betty Reid
Where: Multi Purpose Room

If you ever had the desire to read the Bible from cover to cover then this is the class for you. The Scripture states that faith comes from READING and HEARING and this is exactly what this class is designed to do. This class will continue until the Bible is completed. 

Class 4: Cuthbert Young Adults
Teacher: Sally Mahon
Where: Choir Room
The young adults are currently studying the book Crazy Love.
Beth Moore Bible Study
All ladies are invited to attend a six week study of Beth Moore's Wisdom, the Book of Proverbs. This study started on Monday, September 27, and is held on Mondays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. For information, contact Betty Reid at 281.440.7402 or bettylreid0822@aol.com.
