Rally Day and Ministry Fair this Sunday!
Come join the circle Sunday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m. for our Rally Day and Ministry Fair. It is a time to engage both children and adults in education about the Christian life as well as service to the Lord and one another. Children and youth will have the opportunity to make circle crafts, play circle games and eat circle food! Let the Fair help you explore where God is calling you to be present, then, commit to be involved in one, a few, or many of these ministry teams! Don't miss this exciting opportunity to connect with your church family. The rally will turn in to a party after the 10:30 a.m. worship, so make plans to be there. There will be music, food, activities and fun had by all who attend! |
A Music Opportunity for Children and Youth
On Rally Sunday, September 12, during the 10:30 a.m. pre-service music, children and youth will have an opportunity to join the Music Ministry in calling our church to "arise" to action. We will be singing A New Hallelujah by Michael W. Smith. Rehearsals will be on Sunday, September 5, and Sunday, September 12, at 10:00 a.m. just before church.  Safeguarding God's Children
The next Safeguarding God's Children class will be held on Tuesday, September 14, from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. Safeguarding God's Children is a class for every adult for the prevention of sexual abuse of children and youth. All adults who work with children or youth are required by the Diocese of Texas to attend. Childcare is available but reservations are required.
