Come Join Us for a Barn Raising!
barn raisingWell, actually a shed raising. We're looking for volunteers to help in the construction of a storage building for the mowers and yard equipment so generously donated to St. Cuthbert. We will construct the shed on a concrete foundation on Saturday, August 7, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and drinks will be provided. Gearing Up for International Festival 2010
Tomorrow, Thursday, August 5, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., there will be an organizational meeting for International Festival 2010 planned for Saturday, November 6. CYANew Study for the Cuthbert Young Adults
We are adding a new Christian Education class geared toward Young Adults. During the Christian Education hour from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., we will be studying a book by Francis Chan titled Crazy Love. There is still time to sign up as we await receipt of the books. If you are interested in attending or have further questions, please contact Sally Mahon at sally@stcuthbert.org.
Safeguarding God's People
There will a Safeguarding God's People-Preventing Sexual Exploitation class offered on Tuesday, August 10 at 6:30 p.m. The Diocesan sponsored program teaches how sexual exploitation and harassment occur and the awareness needed for prevention. Welcome_MatMinistry Fellowship Hour
For the summer, the ministries of St. Cuthbert will host a fellowship hour between the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. Every Sunday a different ministry will host refreshments and be available to answer any questions you may have about the ministry while enjoying a time of fellowship with one another.
