Greetings!
 Praise God! It is with hearts full of joy that we offer thanks and praise to our Lord for answering our petitions. God has brought to us the International Baptist Church of Houston (IBCH) as a buyer for the land and building on Willow River Drive. The IBCH is now under contract with St. Cuthbert Church. It is our fervent prayer that the Lord will bless this church as it ministers in His Name, and we thank Him for the new partnership between our faith communities. Later this summer there will be a work party to clean up our former facility to make it ready for the new purpose for which God has prepared it. We are also joyful for His divine timing, that this agreement would be made as we start our second capital campaign. Praise be to God!

 Breaking Bread Gatherings
As part of Building Out, Reaching Up: Our Faith in Action, the Hands and Feet team has attempted to telephone every family in the congregation to invite them to a Breaking Bread Gathering. The team has come across several incorrect phone numbers. If you have not yet been contacted, please call or email Mary Lee Mason at 281.746.7045 or ml.mason@att.net. She will get you scheduled for a meal.
On Sunday, June 6, after the 10:30 a.m. service, a Breading Bread Gathering will be held in the Parish Hall for those who were unable to attend a previous gathering. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Diane Holmes at dianeholmes@att.net or 281.859.2126. Childcare will be provided, with a reservation. Don't miss this special opportunity. |
 Honoring St. Cuthbert's GraduatesAll upcoming high school and college graduates will be recognized during the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday, May 30. There will be a reception in the Parish Hall after the service. If you would like a graduate honored, please contact the church office at 281.463.7330. |
EYC is going to SplashTown
 On Friday, June 4, St. Cuthbert's EYC will join other youth groups from the Diocese to celebrate the beginning of summer at SplashTown! We will meet at the gate at 11:00 a.m. and end the day at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $18. Bring additional money for lunch.

Mary Ann Bridgwater | Pray the Word Ministries Comes to St. Cuthbert June 5! On Saturday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m., St. Cuthbert's ECW will host a special event titled, Pray the Word. Houston's renowned author Mary Ann Bridgwater will be the guest speaker.

 Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Are you ready to learn about the ultimate hero? Come to St. Cuthbert's VBS, Hero HeadQuarters - Where Kids Join Forces with God! Each day kids will learn what it means to be a hero for God in this exciting, challenging, and super-fun VBS program! VBS will be held June 21-25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Capital Campaign
As our first Capital Campaign, Building Together Towards Tomorrow, comes to a close May 31, let us give thanks to God and all who gave sacrifically for the growth of His kingdom. For those wishing to complete their pledge for this campaign, the deadline will be Sunday, May 30. As of May 5 approximately 90% of the campaign goal has been acheived. Thanks be to our Lord for his great provision.
