Blood Drive Sunday St. Cuthbert will host a Blood Drive. A mobile unit will be in the parking lot to begin taking donations after the 8:00 a.m. service. Registration and donor forms will be in the Parish Hall. To donate you must be 17 years of age, at least 110 lbs. and in good general health. Remember, it takes about 15 minutes and one pint of blood to save three lives.
Rose Sunday Celebration It is a St. Cuthbert tradition to celebrate Rose Sunday (Mothering Sunday) with a Bake Sale. This is the midway point during the Lenten season and has been observed with a relaxation of the rigors of the Lenten fast. Rose Sunday is presented by Episcopal Church Women (ECW). Remember to stop by the Parish Hall to pick up your pre-ordered items as well as purchase Scotch eggs, breakfast tacos and other baked goods. All proceeds benefit St. Cuthbert ministries.
Christian Education
Movie - The Heart of Texas
Against the clamorous
traffic of our crowded lives, a story of such tender mercy can seem more of a
work of fiction or a wishful tale...yet every moment of this unbelievable story
is true. For the next two Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:00 a.m. Adult
Christian Education will meet in the sanctuary to watch and discuss The
Heart of Texas, a true story about what can happen when grace and
forgiveness triumph over anguish and outrage.
Lord of the Streets Members of St. Cuthbert are invited to cook breakfast for and provide lunch bags to the Lord of the Streets community. We will leave the church at 5:30 a.m. The mission of Lord of the Streets is to minister to the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of individuals who are homeless, in crisis or in transition. For more information, please contact Joan Everson at 281.859.4147 or Betty Reid at 281.440.7402.
