Pledge Ingathering |
Sunday, October 18, is Ingathering Sunday. The pledge cards will be laid upon the altar as an offering to the Lord. Remember that your pledges determine funding for the 2010 ministry and services at St. Cuthbert Church. Thank you for your consideration and pledge. Seeking Adult Acolytes |
 Prayfully consider becoming an acolyte to help Fr. Desmond serve the flock at St. Cuthbert during the 8:00 a.m. service. The emphasis at this service will be on adults, although anyone baptized and at least sixteen years old is eligible. The basic responsibilities include being trained, serving approximately once a month, and being at the church 20 minutes before the service. The training for the 8:00 a.m. acolyte ministry is set for 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, in the church Nave.

Join the seniors for their next luncheon, Thursday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Creek Bar-be-que on 5935 Highway 6, next to Chili's. The food is delicious, so please come! |
Kid's Night In |
 This is a ministry to parents of young children sponsored by Mothers of Young Children (MYC). The church will provide free childcare on Saturday, October 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Parents can go on a date and spend some quality time with their spouse, or enjoy renewing solitude. Christmas Pageant Information and Help Wanted! |
 The Christmas pageant will be presented at the 5:30 p.m. Christmas Eve service. The play has speaking parts for both children and adults. Auditions will be held in the sanctuary on Sunday, October 25, immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service. Rehearsals will be 12:30-2:00 p.m. on Sundays starting in November. Parents of younger participants who would prefer a non-speaking part should contact Connie Bennicoff. An assistant director is needed. No previous acting or theatrical experience is necessary. Donations Needed |
 On Sunday, October 25, members of St. Cuthbert are invited to cook breakfast for and provide lunch bags to the Lord of the Streets community. Donations of the following to be used in the lunch bags are needed: cheese and crackers, fruit, Vienna sausages, juice boxes and chips. Monetary donations are always appreciated. All items should be dropped off by Sunday, October 18. Chess Night |

Sunday October, 25 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. EYC (Episcopal Youth Community) will host a chess night.Youth, adults and kids are invited come learn the game from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Dinner and fellowship will be from 6:00-6:30 p.m.Then from 6:30-7:30 p.m. our resident chess master, Jon Santos, will play everyone simultaneously.
