Jaime Correa, the lead designer of Punta Gorda's 2005 Citizens' Master Plan, will be our guest speaker. He will have had an opportunity to tour Punta Gorda prior to our meeting. We're looking forward to hearing his thoughts on our accomplishments over the last five years since Hurricane Charley, and suggestions of what our next steps might be in our continuing revitalization. Jaime will be hosted by the Four Points by Sheraton while in Punta Gorda.
Jimmy Dean, the Publisher of Harbor Style Magazine, will be our emcee for this meeting. Our agenda will include the presentation of the 2009 TEAM Punta Gorda Design Awards. Be the first to recognize those winning this prestigious award. We will have a great raffle again this year. The first prize is a $3,000 MiXto Micro Facial Skin Rejuvenation donated by Dr. Robert Watine. Other prizes include a two-night stay for two at the Wyvern Hotel; two tickets to the Fifth Annual Wine and Jazz Festival donated by the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce; a dinner for two at Santhinos Family Restaurant; and one cooking class at Pies and Plates.Plan on coming to the Event Center around 6 p.m. in order to see the video produced by two Jr. TEAM Punta Gorda members, Tyler Cardillo and Kyle Lynch, who are students at Charlotte High School.
