Hello Friend! Boy, are things busy around here and I-LOVE-IT! I'm always shocked when I hear about artists who can't come up with anything to create. My mind is constantly coming up with things to create... sometimes I even dream about it. I recently read an article about a mosaic artist in Dallas and in the article was a quote from her husband which read, ""Artists' minds, they work in different ways... she's the idea person and I'm pretty much the one who cleans up." My husband can so relate to that... but in my defense, I never claimed to be a domestic diva! As usual I hope you enjoy this newsletter and I welcome your feedback! ~ Michele

| Extreme Home Makeover: The Reveal |
So, did you catch my 15 seconds of fame on April 4th? No really, it was about 15 seconds. I was the one hiding behind the designer. Here is a picture of the mosaic headboard in the completed room. It was a true honor to be part of the rebuilding of this family's home. If you saw the show I'd love to hear what you thought. Now if I could just get Oprah to call! |

| Italian Expo - May 21-23, 2010 |
Who wouldn't want to whisk away to Italy for the weekend? You could spend the day lingering over lunch accompanied by fine wine and finished with a scoop of gelato. You could shop the outdoor market, dodging street painters and buying Italian wares. But... you'd return with jet lag and leftover Euros. Instead come visit us at the Mosaico Houston booth at the Italian Expo, May 21-23 at the George R. Brown Convention Center. I'll be manning the booth on Friday from 2 - 5pm and on Sunday from noon - 6pm. You can travel halfway around the world without even leaving Houston! Come enjoy beautiful mosaics, great wine, food, music and much more. No passport required. Ciao!
