Happy Fall Ya'll!
 Oh, the beautiful fall foilage... crisp golden leaves floating down from heaven. Well, in my dreams anyway! No fall foilage here in Houston to speak of. It is still my favorite time of year though because change is in the air... and I love change!

 MXM is currently working on a piece for the 1st Annual Color Me Well Art Exhibit and Auction. This event is the brainchild of my good friend, Gayla Baechtold and is designed to raise money for individual breast cancer patients. | The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake |
 I recently started volunteering as a curatorial assistant at The Arts Alliance Center at Clear Lake (TAACCL). I'm looking forward to meeting some creative people, making new friends and learning as much as possible.
This Thursday, October 15th, TAACCL will have its 3rd Annual Art Auction, Small Works by Great Minds. This special event will feature the small works in all media of over 100 Bay Area artists. I hope to see you there! |
| Open Studio Days - Coming in January! |
Beginning January 15, 2010, MXM will have open studio days for those in need of space and tools. For a small hourly fee of ONLY $5 you may use our studio and our tools to work on your own project with your own materials. We will have a small selection of materials for sale as well. Oh, and free advice and support from a mosaic artist! ;)
