WILDEBEEST MIGRATION - TANZANIA & KENYA

Wildebeest Migration

The Migration is a movement of 1.5 million wildebeest throughout the Serengeti and Masai Mara ecosystems on the Kenya-Tanzania border.  400,000 zebra and 350,000 Thomson's Gazelles and 12,000 Eland accompany them along the way, making a total of over 2 million migrating animals.  As early as the 1st July the very first crossings of the Mara River begin, often with no distinct movement as the herds tend to cross back and forth over the river, following the flush of fresh grass, until early November when they head into the Serengeti in Tanzania. Please call us for ideas on private safaris or combining a safari with some time on the beach. Suggested itinerary.

BOTSWANA - TRANS OKAVANGO BOATING
Okavango Elephant

The best way to explore this truly incredible landscape is to get out onto its waterways in a boat with a private guide. On a mobile boating safari you can explore the Okavango delta's countless islands spotting game, and stay on many that are uninhabited, whilst enjoying friendly Botswanan hospitality. The camps are private, fully staffed and have individual fully equipped twin tents with proper beds, lighting and hot bucket showers.  Have a look at this epic 8 night itinerary. This trip can be followed by a few nights in a lodge at Victoria Falls or an add-on to Cape Town to which there are now direct flights.
