Six of the Best - and one for luck
Bee eaters
We are often asked where are the best places to go in southern and eastern Africa. It's a   very difficult question, but we do have a list of outstanding special places that we think you should consider if you are planning a trip. They are consistently remarkable, and continue to impress our clients.  Sand Rivers Selous, in Tanzania. Tswalu Kalahari Reserve, Ants Nest and Londolozi in South Africa, Vamizi Island Lodge off the Mozambique coast, Borana Ranch overlooking Mount Kenya and  Sandibe Game Lodge in the Okavango Delta,  Botswana. There are of course other places to choose from that have impressive credentials - we just had to limit the list this time.
Pamushana - giving back
Pamushana childrens food programme
Like you, we have been deeply concerned about the situation in Zimbabwe and the plight of  its good people over the past decade. Now that the situation has improved somewhat, one way of supporting the population is by traveling to stay at the fabulous Pamushana Lodge in the countries south east. Pamushana is heavily involved within the local community and feed 23,000 school children (yes, really) from the Pamushana Trust Lands every school day. Do have a look at this wonderful property for it has first class accommodation, guiding, abundant game and is easily accessed direct via Johannesburg.
The Art of Travel
Ellerman Villa Art
For those interested in the wonderful art that Africa has to offer stay at both Ellerman House in Cape Town and Delaire Graff Lodge and Spa  just outside Stellenbosch, and enjoy this art lovers paradise.  At Ellerman House, immerse yourself in the largest collection of private South African Art, and at Delaire Graff Lodge, meet the artists responsible for some of the magnificent art and sculptures. Visit the Everard Reed and Irma Stern Galleries in Cape Town, as well as the Modern and Contemporary Gallery and the Rupert Museum in Stellenbosch.  We can design a wonderful itinerary that will give you time to appreciate the amazing art that is being produced in Africa. Just give us a call.
