Greetings!
It's summer in Michigan! We hope you are enjoying the long days and warm weather.
We found this great article about the booming rental market. We thought you might find it interesting. |
 | Lower Your DTE Bill With A/C Maintenance |
|
Did you know that simple maintenance to your air conditioner unit (free standing units, not window units) will not only prolong the life of the unit, but also it can lower your DTE bills.
- Trim any vegetation around the unit, including shrubs, grass, and weeds.
- Clean away any leaves, Cottonwood fluff, Maple keys (aka helicopters, polynoses, whirligigs, or spinning jennys) with a garden hose.
- Replace your furnace filter.
Stay cool and save money this summer! |
 | Section 8 Tenant's Responsibility |
|
If you receive Section 8 benefits, please note that Garner Properties only receives payment for rent from the housing department. Utilities, including water, are not covered by the housing department and must be paid by the Tenant. Failure to pay your water bill in a timely manner will result in late fees.
Garner Properties sends out notification when the water bill is due. You have 30 days from the date the bill is posted to your account to pay without penalty.
For your convenience, water bills can be paid on-line through the Tenant Portal. See the sidebar for more information about using the Tenant Portal. |
