Greetings!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with you.  We don't always get the opportunity to say it, but we appreciate your business.

We hope that you are happy in your home and that you would refer your friends and family who are looking for a new home to us.
If you are still looking, or are not yet a Tenant, we look forward to working with you soon.
Gutter Maintenance

We have had a few days of heavy rain and wind.  The wind is blowing leaves and seed pods and other debris around and guess where it is landing?  In your gutter.  Just in time for rain.

Please check your gutters and clear them of leaves and debris so that the rain collects and diverts away from the house properly.  Overflowing gutters can lead to water in the basement.

When cleaning your gutters, please use caution.

Ewww Bugs!

As the weather gets nicer, you may see an increase in bugs in your home - ants, spiders, silverfish, millipedes, potato bugs, and the like.  You can take a couple of measures to keep them outside:

  • Don't feed the bugs - Keep floors and counters clean and free of food and spills.
  • Set out traps - You may like traps, or powders, or sprays, or home remedies.
  • Seal holes, cracks and openings.
  • Ensure that your home has proper ventilation and humidity levels.
  • Figure out which bugs are your friends in fight against all of the others.  You may find that spiders are are not all that bad once you see how many other bugs they eat.

Garner Properties does not exterminate for seasonal bugs, so please keep up with home maintenance to minimize the numbers.

As always, we appreciate your partnership.

Sincerely,

Chris Garner
