Greetings!

March is here.  Did it come in like a lion or a lamb?  How will it end up?  We can't tell.  Everywhere you look around the country, the weather is not what we expect it to be.

We hope you are enjoying the weird and wonderful weather, and that, no matter what the weather, March will go out like a lamb.

Tips For Reading Your Statment

In this column, we will provide tips for reading your Owner Statement. The tips are based on real customer service calls we receive, so we know there are more owners out there with the same question!

Q. What is a Portfolio Minimum?

A. A Portfolio Minimum lets you know how much of a balance is kept on reserve in your account to cover incidental expenses such as maintenance, court fees, and city inspections.

Q. Why are there always amounts in the Ending Balance and Portfolio Minimum fields every month?

A. At the end of the pay period, the Ending Balance should match the Portfolio Minimum, indicating that the proper amount is being kept on reserve.

Maintenance Department Upgrades
We recently upgraded company-issued cell phones to include GPS so that we can track their location to better assign Work Orders as they come in.  We are seeing immediate savings on travel time and gas, as well as increased efficiency.

The new phones are also Skype enabled so the team can immediately report problems in the field with pictures and video.
As always, we appreciate your partnership.

Sincerely,

Chris Garner
