Happy New Year to you and your family.  Of course, no new year greeting would be complete without a discussion of resolutions.  We mentioned some of our business-related resolutions in our year-end newsletter, our office is engaged in a heated competition of The Biggest Loser, and we are all trying to show a little more kindness to our fellow man.  What are your resolutions?  Go to our Facebook page and post them to share.

Accounting Services

 

We are pleased to introduce to you Brent A Chavis of Chavis Tax & Accounting.  Brent is available to assist you with tax questions, and tax filings related to your investments.  Our international clients will be interested to know that Brent is an IRS Acceptance Agent, meaning that he can accept certified W-7 applications, rather than having to send them to the IRS, which may speed up the process.  Brent's office is very busy, so when you contact them, mention Garner Properties & Management.  Brent can be reached via e-mail or by phone at 313-292-5628.  We will also post Brent's contact information on our website.

Rate Increase for Maintenance

 

Increased fuel prices have forced us to increase our maintenance rates to $45/hour.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Year-End Statements

 

You can generate year-end statements through the Owner Portal immediately.  If you prefer to received your statement by mail, they will be sent out by January 31.
