The strong rental market that we started to see last year is expected to continue through 2013. According to an article from MSNBC, landlords are taking this opportunity to raise rents an average of 5% this year and will expect the same increase next year.

This is the boom period investors across the nation have been waiting for.

 

If you are a landlord who is too busy living life to keep up with the strength of the rental market, consider using the services of a property management firm.  Feel free to relax and stop leaving money on the table.

 

 

Why Is My Property Still Vacant?

 

We hope you never ask us this question, but long vancancy periods can occasionally happen in the rental business.  We have created a weekly vacancy review procedure which allows us to keep slow moving properties on our radar and make incremental marketing and/or pricing tweaks in a timely manner so that you won't have to ask the dreaded question.  Maybe it's adding a Move-in Special, maybe it's an adjustment to the rental rate, or maybe it's a rehab issue.  Whatever the proposed fix, the goal is to find a qualified tenant for your property.
