Avoiding Mosquitoes and the West Nile Virus

What do you get when you cross standing water and summer?  Mosquitos.  They are pests and they bite, but some mosquitoes may carry the West Nile Virus which can be a deadly disease.

The best way to avoid the bites and the virus is to make it difficult for mosquitoes to breed.  We have found some simple solutions in this article.

If you think you may have the West Nile Virus, we also found this article which lists the symptoms.  Of course, don't take it from us.  See your doctor if a bug bit looks fishy or you experience symptoms beyond the light itch.

Removing Mildew from the Shower

Mildew buildup in the shower grout and under the caulk is a common household issue.  The best way to prevent it is to stay ahead of the problem.  We found this article that describes not only how to clean up the grout, but also how to prevent the mildew from coming back.

It's time to roll up the sleeves and attack the shower head-on!

As always, we appreciate your partnership.

Sincerely,

Chris Garner
