BRING YOUR EXPERTISE AND MESSAGE TO YOUR COMMUNITY BY PRESENTING IT AT LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS
CORE CONCEPT:
The ultimate goal of any company is to become a 'household word' in your community. You want to be known as the expert in your field. The 'go to' company for answers and service in your industry. You want to build trust in your company and your expertise. When people begin to know you they begin to trust you. There is a very large trust factor involved in inviting someone into your home. Familiarity does build trust.
RESOLUTION:
Sharing your knowledge of the cleaning industry regarding best practices for cleaning, best supplies to use on different surfaces and what to look for when choosing a cleaning service is a valuable tool for getting your name out. There are many organizations in your community who would love to hear your knowledge on these subjects. There are many organizations in your community that meet on a monthly basis and struggle to find free speakers for each of their meetings. You can help them fill their need and bring your message to a large group of people at one time.
Contact your local chamber and ask for a list of all of the nonprofit organizations in your community. You can also google nonprofit volunteer organizations and create your own list. Send them a letter or an email sharing your history. Including a picture of yourself is always a nice touch. Then present your desire to speak at one of their meetings on tips on how to clean their homes better and faster including the fact that you are offering this at no charge to them. When you present your subject matter you will, of course, close your speech with the best way of all to clean a home--- hire it done. Give them a few hints to research when they are choosing a company. Most cities will have from 25-100 nonprofits organizations that you can write.
