I am not going to talk about the weather in case I jinx it but.... sure am loving it! Regardless of the temperature outside, it's starting to look a lot like Christmas - streets and stores are decorated and there is a hum in the air. The Mulberry Tree is getting very busy, new baskets are up on the website, product is stacked up, orders are coming in!

The annual Festival of Trees and Lights is now on at the Assiniboine Park Conservatory. This is a must see! It features gorgeous decorated trees by different organizations. You can purchase a ticket on these trees and if by chance you are the lucky winner of one, it will be delivered to your door in time for Christmas! Now that was easy!!!

Get out to visit the many nurseries and greenhouses around town. Not only do they offer Christmas trees, wreaths and poinsettas, they also have an amazing selection of items to suit anyone on your list.

Visit the Festival of Trees and Lights Craft Sale on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29. The Mulberry Tree will be there with lots of offerings for Holiday shopping - Plantable Paper, b.b.begonia eco bags, driftwood carvings and so much more!! Visit the website at http://www.friend sfestival.com for information on the sale. Hope to see you there!

My favorite new basket for the season!! This gift celebrates everything Cranberry - from amazing Cranberry Honey from The John Russell Honey Company to decadent white chocolate covered popcorn with cranberries. We even include a cranberry recipe book so that once the goodies in the basket are gone, you can make your own.

butterflies are free
This Butterflies are Free gift is not only beautiful, but by purchasing it, you help support The Friends of Assiniboine Park Conservatory Butterfly Fund. The gift includes "The Land Where the Sky Begins", a beautiful book about North America's endangered Tall Grass Prairie and Aspen Parkland (photos by Dennis Fast, Text by Barbara Huck), Butterfly Tea, Plantable Paper Butterfly gift tags, and a gorgeous Butterfly art card by Evelyn Yauk. Packaged in a beautiful reusable eco bag, this is a gift that is sure to please. And if the special someone you know already has the book, we offer a smaller gift package filled with Butterfly goodies.
