Dear Friend:
Happy Spring! It's time to crack a window, let some fresh air in and listen to the baby robins chirp as their mom feeds them in their little tree house outside.
In fact, the warmer temps are a great time for caregiver and senior to bond, too. By planting flowers together, stepping outside for an errand or two or simply sitting on the porch and sipping a homemade glass of sweet tea, springtime means caring.
In our new campaign, "what caring means," we'll be exploring the many definitions of the word, "caring" -- as a noun, a verb or maybe even a true story that illustrates the simple act of kindness bestowed from one being to another.
As you see in the above picture, we believe that caring means responsiveness. (This is our first of three postcards going out in the mail this month to give an example of how we care for our clients. In this case, it's that we answer the phone round-the-clock and can place a caregiver with your discharged patient in 8 or less hours.)
But caring means so much more, too! As our partner in care -- whether you're a social worker, case manager, nurse, physical therapist, etc., we'd like to know "what caring means" to you.
So we're having a drawing for a 75.00 spa gift card. To enter, simply email "what caring means (to you)" to info@alternativeforseniors.com or post your idea to our Facebook page. You'll get one free entry into our drawing with each separate email or FB post through March 30, 2012. Good luck, be well and thanks for all the caring you do!

P.S. Thanks for your past (and future) patient referrals. Our business relies on these referrals as we've successfully served metro Atlanta with home care since 2002. (That's a whole decade!)
