How to hunt for Easter eggs and homecare.

Hip. Hip. Hur-Egg!
Easter's almost here! A happy time for pastel colored jelly beans, marshmallow chicks and chocolate bunnies. How fun to put on that bonnet, grab your wicker basket by the handle and look for all of your cleverly hidden eggs!
But what if instead of those oval creations you had to find in-home care for a family member? And fast?
For instance, let's say your mom was just released from a rehab center after hip surgery. And you found out at the last minute she was going to need help with housekeeping, meal preparation and errands for a few months. How would you know who to contact? What if that "right" home care agency didn't answer your call at night and thus, couldn't address your needs? And if they did, would they be able to provide you with an experienced and compatible caregiver within 12 hours? Would the agency be licensed and bonded? Would you have total peace of mind knowing they'd been in business several years and had a proven track record in taking care of seniors like your mom?
These are just a few questions you might ask yourself as you begin seeking out an in-home care provider. A bit more complex than looking for an egg under a sofa cushion, right?
