 New Moon Energies in Cancer, the starsign of Mother Love! The Sign of Cancer is in the element of Water, explaining what type of energy it is and how it operates. Cancer flows, it surrounds and absorbs. Water energy is sensitive to ALL energy, it acts as a sponge and soaks up its environment yet also surrounds and saturates. Cancer traditionally represents the Mother Archetype and rules the private life of house and home. This New Moon period takes the Empath as its central image. A time where we can focus on understanding , feeling and identifying ourselves with others comes to the foreground. It may also involve sympathy for another person's ideas or way of thinking. This period is important in developing basic humanity; also because without some degree of empathy our individual success in the world would be denied. Now, Id like to take a moment to talk about the Cancer personality. Some of my favorite people are Cancers and I've had the longest friendships with these special unusual people. They are naturally able to set themselves apart from others. They can be likened to the young adult (23 - 28) seeking to establish his/her home, career and perhaps establishing a family for the first time! Ruled by the Moon, Cancer is associated with highly personal emotions and also with the life of the subconscious. ADVICE: Emotions are simply emotions, neither good nor bad.
