Just 8 years ago in Seattle, WA, the School of 1 opened its spiritual doors serving just one student: me. On that day, June 21st, 2002, I was to be ordained as a minister by S.H.A.E.S. (Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards) at a Summer Solstice celebration. My tantric lover David and I were deep in service to the Mystic Sisters of Green Lake. His protective nature had led me to explore becoming an ordained healer, so that our sisterhood would be protected by the Constitution. I realized as I met with the Pagans, Goddess believers, Reiki Masters and other healers that my focus was unique. How do we integrate sex & soul, connecting the body to the greater matrix of life? I realized then, as I do now, that all spiritual illumination comes from within. It is only through the cultivation of Self knowledge that all of Creation is witnessed with wisdom. You have already enrolled in the School of 1 mystery school, most commonly referred to as YOUR LIFE!
As I welcome Wayne & Laurie Clayton to the Phoenix Goddess Temple/Temple of 1, I feel blessed to have such a wise and warm couple of lovers heading up our new School of 1. Whether you need a quick pick-me-up with refreshing new perspectives, or an intensive study to deepen your professional life, So1 will have great options every week of the year. Wayne and Laurie Clayton moved their family from Chicago, IL to Phoenix, AZ to expand the School of 1. Wayne is the new Director of the school and Laurie is its Administrator and keeper of records.
Wayne is an open-hearted, Tantric Energy Healer and Teacher with over 20 years of experience working with seekers to assist them on their spiritual path. He has taught multi-level Tantra courses and intensives along with energetic techniques like Stem Cell Reactivation and others. Seekers acknowledge his calming yet powerful ability to hold space, witness and safely guide them on their healing path. He works on acute and chronic physical and/or emotional problems in addition to wellness care. Some tools he uses are essential oils, tuning forks, minerals, touch, and remote healing methods. He has realized great success working with seekers that have been diagnosed with debilitating conditions like Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, and Depression, as well as people dealing with long-term issues surrounding sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual dysfunction, stress, low self-image, nerve damage, pain management, injuries and many other problems. Wayne welcomes inquiries from both students and teachers interested in weaving with us.
Laurie is the Administrator for the So1 and has a bookkeeping/administrator background. She brings the unique perspective of having just served for 11 years as an administrator for a mainline church and pastor. She is bringing a calm smile and an open mind as she gets busy scheduling the teachers, students and facility that make up So1. Wayne & Laurie are the proud parents of 2 wonderful teenagers (14 and 20) and are both looking forward to growing with this special school for the healing arts.
