Apple Reveals Details of the New iPhone 4Siphone

Apple has just revealed details of the new iPhone 4S, an even  faster version of the best-selling iPhone 4, which will go on sale on October 14th.

The new version contains several exciting new features, including a virtual "personal assistant" named "Siri", which takes voice commands and translates speech into text. The phone also contains an A5 processor that Apple says is up to seven times faster at rendering graphics and twice as fast at processing data. Apple reports that the phone's camera will have an eight-megapixel sensor for photos, which will allow 60 percent more pixels than the iPhone 4, and will shoot 1080 HD video.
These new camera developments will make it just as good, if not better, than many point-and-shoot devices.

How "Free" Email Can End Up Costing Youfree email

It takes a lot of work to build a successful, positive brand and  acquire the trust of your clients. Personal and professional phone greetings, professional marketing material and business cards are all pieces of the puzzle that assures your clients that you are serious about your business. Another piece of the puzzle is your business's own domain name for email.

You can have a great conversation with a potential client, but when you hand them your business card with an email address that belongs to one of the well known, free email providers, you have to expect that some professional credibility will be lost.  A lawyer with an email address johnsmith@legalfirm.com

conveys much more credibility than if his email address were johnsmithlegalfirm@yahoo.com. In addition to professional branding, there are some great reasons to have your own domain for business email.

Small Business Owners: Are Your Passwords Secure?

Article By Donna Fuscaldo from the Fox Small Business Website

secure pwOnline security is important, but let's face it: It can be hard to keep track of all our passwords.  Brandon Abbey, chief executive of Burstorm, in San Carlos, Calif., was forced to email himself passwords in order to keep track of the data.  The leader of the computer storage and network cloud services provider knew this wasn't the most effective and safest way to remember passwords, but it worked. Finally he stumbled across password manager SplashData and he no longer worries about his passwords getting lost or stolen.

"It saves us a tremendous amount of time," said Abbey. "The best part it's extremely easy to do."

Despite the fact they serve as protection to sensitive data online, the importance of  strong passwords and logins is often overlooked by small businesses.

"People don't always follow the best password practices, "said Moran Slain, chief executive of SplashData of Los Gatos, Calif. "People don't realize the risk and use the same passwords over and over again and share passwords with colleagues."
